In a thrilling display of talent and teamwork, new champions were crowned at the 2023 Rössing Uranium Inter-Departmental Sports that took place on Saturday, 22 July at the Vineta Central Stadium in Swakopmund.

The competition was fierce, with each department showcasing their best athletes and putting on a spectacular show. From heart-pounding matches on the soccer field to nail-biting netball & volleyball games and everything in between, the employees' dedication and passion for sports was evident throughout.

The event not only brought out the competitive spirit but also strengthened the bond between Rössing employees and Contractor employees. Colleagues from different teams came together, supporting and cheering for each other, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie across the company.

Beyond the exhilarating matches, the Rössing Uranium Inter-Departmental Sports had a positive impact on employee well-being. The participants experienced the thrill of victory and the lessons of resilience in defeat, while also enjoying the physical and mental benefits of engaging in sports.
