The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rössing Uranium Limited, Mr Rehabeam Hoveka, has the pleasure to announce that Mr Werner Duvenhage has been appointed as the Managing Director of Rössing Uranium Limited as from mid-August 2013.

Mr Duvenhage joins Rössing Uranium from Langer Heinrich Uranium where he held the role of Managing Director since 2010. During his time at Langer Heinrich, he gained experience across all aspects of construction, commissioning and operations.

He is the current President of the Chamber of Mines of Namibia, and previously also held the position of Chairman of the Uranium Stewardship Committee. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an Honours degree in Financial Management.

Mr Duvenhage's experience in the national uranium industry, his strategic focus and his demonstrated approach to safety and leadership in his previous roles, makes him an ideal candidate to take over the leadership of Rössing Uranium Limited.

Mr Chris Salisbury will remain in the Managing Director's role until after Mr Duvenhage's commencement, and until a comprehensive handover has been completed.
