Mr Hoveka is currently Rössing's General Manager Corporate Services and has worked in various roles since he joined the company on 13 January 1986. A few of his previous roles at Rössing include General Manager Commercial Services, Manager Business Services, Manager Commercial Services and Superintendent Corporate Services. Mr Hoveka retires from the company on the 31st March and will then take up the new role as Chairman.
His experience includes the management of human resources, employee relations, procurement, corporate governance, public and community relations, media and government liaison.
Mr Hoveka holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of the West of England and an MBA degree from Maastricht Business School in the Netherlands.
His appointment follows the retirement of Mr Charles Kauraisa as the Chairman of the Board in August 2007.
